Is my client’s audio stored anywhere?
No. It travels over an encrypted connection, is turned into text, and is discarded the moment the job is done. It is never stored and never used to train anything. History keeps the text on your Mac — never the recording.
Does it work in Word, Outlook, and our case-management system?
Yes. Dictate types where your cursor is, so it works anywhere you can type — Word, Outlook, your browser, and your case-management tools. Nothing to connect, nothing to configure.
Do I have to train it on my voice?
No training, no setup. Speak normally. Add client names, party names, and terms of art to the glossary once and they come out spelled right.
Is there a free trial?
No. It’s $8/month from day one. Cancel whenever; access runs to the end of what you paid for.
Can I get a refund?
Subscribed and changed your mind before using it? Email support@dictates.app and the month is refunded in full. Once you’ve transcribed something, the month is committed.
